When and Where is VidCon?

Location: Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim California
Dates: Thursday, August 1, 2013 – Saturday, August 3, 2013

What ticket type should I choose?

We’ve got a page on that as well. But, for simplicity:

Community Pass (most popular) – Gives full access to all VidCon programing, with the exception of the Industry Track.
Industry Pass (for the industry) – Gives full access to all VidCon programing including the Industry Track, which is made up of the pre-conference Industry Day on August 1st as well as specialized Industry Track sessions on August 2nd and 3rd.
Super Early Bird vs. Early Bird vs. Standard – There is no difference in these ticket types other than price. The early bird gets the worm ;)

How old do I have to be to attend VidCon?

There is no age limit to attend VidCon. If you are under 18 and your parents are ok with you going, then so are we! Your parents must be ok with it, but we don’t require any permission slips. Ages 8 and younger even get in for free.

Is there a “'”'Chaperone Ticket”''?

We don’t offer any discounts for parents or chaperones. You are more than welcome to hang out at the hotel or in the new plaza around the Anaheim Convention Center; we just can’t let you into the expo hall, sessions or Mainstage unless you are registered for a ticket. (Note: this does not apply to those with a disability who require assistance from a caregiver per ADA regulations).

Can I modify or cancel my registration?

Yes! Anytime before Monday, July 29 (the Monday before VidCon). Please click here for information and instructions.

Will there be a VidCon UK / East Coast / Mid-West / South America / my bedroom?

At present, we don’t have any plans for a VidCon outside of Anaheim. We dream about it, but so far we’re not planning on it. However, there are online video gatherings and conferences all over the world and we encourage you to attend as well as create them.

How old do I have to be to volunteer? If I do volunteer, what do I get?

You must turn 18 on or before VidCon to volunteer. Meaning, you may sign up at age 17 as long as your 18th birthday is on or before August 1, 2013. Please click here for more information.

Disney Day Ticket

Your Disneyland ticket is not included in the price of your VidCon ticket. Please click here for more information (and for discounted Disneyland tickets)!

Is {Insert Awesome Person”'s Name Here} going to be at VidCon 2013?

Maybe! First, check out our Special Guests page here. But keep in mind that A) Some of our special guests have not yet registered and B) That awesome person might be planning to go to VidCon on their own (anyone and everyone is more than welcome to attend)!

Will VidCon be live streamed?

Unfortunately, we can’t stream the whole conference, but we will do our best to broadcast what we can.

Can I sing, dance, or drag at VidCon?

Yes, yes, and yes. We want you to be yourself, and have fun! As long as your actions are safe, legal, and appropriate for a family event, you are more than welcome to flaunt your stuff at VidCon 2013.
