So we literally cannot exist without the help of VidCon volunteers, but we also simply don’t want to. The enthusiasm and desire our volunteers have to help make the conference fantastic is the best. thing. ever.
Volunteers at VidCon 2013 will assist with a variety of tasks, but we’ll need a lot of people this year focused on organizing the excitement, whether it’s VidConQuest, managing lines, helping at photo booths or with games. Our hope is, volunteers won’t feel like they’re stuck behind a registration desk all conference in 2013.
A few things to know about volunteering at VidCon:
- You must be 18 or older to volunteer at VidCon 2013.
- You are required to purchase your own VidCon ticket. If you become a volunteer, we will reimburse you 50% of the price of (1) community ticket. Reimbursements will be processed in August once the event has concluded.
- We are not able to offer complimentary lodging or transportation.
- Volunteer positions will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will be posting a link to a volunteer submission form on the VidCon website closer to the event. Stay tuned!
Please Note: Sending an e-mail to a VidCon e-mail account will not increase your chances of becoming a volunteer. All submissions must come through the volunteer submission form. Keep an eye on our website for more information!

You only have to be 18 in order to volunteer. Age does not matter if you just wish to attend vidcon :)

I am very interested in helping out for VidCon. Though I am not personally a YouTuber, I am an avid subscriber. I basically stay on YouTube, half-serious. And if I get the chance I would love for my first experience of VidCon to be hands on and behind the scenes helping out!
