One year’s VidCon attendee is the next year’s superstar. Entire genres are created in the time it takes a full season of TV to meander its way to conclusion. Creating an event for something so wildly diverse and rapidly evolving is an impossible task, but we attempt it anyway. And we do it with excitement, because we believe that online video is the most important cultural force since the motion picture. We are in the very early, defining moments of an extremely powerful global force. VidCon is and strives to continue to be the physical center of that revolution.
In 2015, over 21,000 fans, creators, and industry leaders got together to celebrate the power of online video. 2016 will be even bigger and better — check out what’ll be new for 2016 below, and get your Community, Creator, or Industry ticket before they sell out!
More things – that’s good, right? We want to make sure we’re able to feature as many creators and talents and ideas as possible, so we’re adding a whole new set of stages at the Anaheim Marriott directly adjacent to the ACC, open to all three ticket types. We’ll have panels, Q&As, and activities going on over there, so you’ll be able to revel more in this magical world of online video.
It’s no secret that gamers are juggernauts of online video content, but until now we’ve never really been able to give those creators the nod they deserve. So this year, we’re setting up a space on the main floor of the convention center totally dedicated to gaming. We’ll be hosting panels and discussions about how to create good gaming content, live gameplay with top creators, and more. It’s going to be open to all three ticket types and it’s going to be good.

Our seminar series will arm every 2016 attendee with proven strategies, secrets and techniques that they can put to work on the following Monday – to drive more viewers, engagement and revenue across every significant social video channel. In addition, the course materials from all 22 seminars will be available to every Industry Track attendee immediately after the show – so even if you can’t attend every session, you’ll have in-hand much of what you’ll need to implement these strategies and tactics.
