Online video is a target that seems to never sit in one spot.

In the time it takes a television show to meander its way through a season, online video has spawned three or four new genres of content. Online video is a medium that refuses to be defined. Trust us, we’ve tried.

Creating an event for something so wildly diverse and rapidly evolving may be an impossible task, but it is one we attempt anyway, and with excitement, because we believe that online video is the most important cultural force since the motion picture. We believe deeply that we are in the very early, defining moments of an extremely powerful global force.

VidCon strives to be the physical center of that revolution.

VidCon returns to the Anaheim Convention Center in 2015, running from July 23rd to 25th. More than 300 of the most innovative and influential YouTube creators will perform, discuss, and connect with the more than 20,000 attendees expected at the three-day conference.

We’re adding tens of thousands of square feet and three new stages to our community track programming to make it easier to enjoy insights and performances from creators across a wide variety of genres. We’re also adding a new meet-and-greet signup system that will save time and stress at the event.

VidCon is also expanding on its mission to educate and empower the creator community with a brand-new 3-day Creator Track. On the second floor, the creator track feature panels, talks, workshops, and keynotes focusing on the nuts and bolts of writing, editing, shooting, lighting, marketing, monetizing, and just creating online video.

In 2015 the Industry Track will bring the leaders of the online video industry together for two days to discuss, predict, debate and discover the future of the online video industry with a 2-day schedule of keynotes, fireside chats, round-tables and hands-on learning.
