How to Cake It  (Yolanda & Connie)

Yolanda Gampp is a self-taught master cake artist and the host of How To Cake It, one of the top baking channels on YouTube! Formerly on the Food Network show SugarStars, Yolanda’s work has been featured on The Today Show, BuzzFeed, Glamour, Daily Mail, and The Social. Yolanda and How To Cake it has collaborated with brands such as Disney, Walmart and Mattel and her high-profile clients include George R.R. Martin and Jordan Knight. She is also working on her first major book with Harper Collins!
A graduate of George Brown’s culinary arts program in Toronto, Yolanda quickly discovered that her true passion was working with sweets and was further inspired by her father who worked as a baker in Germany before immigrating to Canada. With an Instagram audience of over 2 million and growing, Yolanda continues to capture people’s imaginations with her work and inspires them to get creative with baking!

Connie is a producer, brand strategist, and entrepreneur who is passionate about creating compelling content and brands. As a graduate of both UCLA’s Screenwriting program and the Canadian Film Centre’s Interactive Arts & Entertainment program, she has a strong background in creating story-driven content for multiple platforms. She began her career working in Publicity and Promotions at 20th Century Fox before moving into various production roles on Hollywood features for New Line, Sony and Mandate Films. In 2007, she co-founder of CJ Mercon Productions, a TV/Film production company where she co-created and produced television programming for various networks worldwide including Food Network, HGTV and HBO Canada. In 2015, the company shifted its focus to the digital world, and launched “How To Cake It” a webby- award winning digital brand which includes one the fastest growing YouTube channels in the world with over 2.5 million subscribers, 225 million views and a growing e-commerce business.
