Thomas De Napoli (Sr Director, Business Strategy - Viacom Velocity)

Tom De Napoli founded and runs a strategy team that uses marketplace intelligence and competitive analysis to inform the experimentation, iteration and scaling of revenue generating branded content solutions that propel Velocity’s business forward. His areas of focus include: building joint venture partnerships with digital native creators; developing original branded content products; advising on new media distribution strategies; and supporting thought partners across Viacom on strategic initiatives. Recent projects include LIT!, a Webby nominated series made with Beats, partnerships with Bustle Digital Group, Indigenous Media, Above Average, and augmented reality pioneer 8i. De Napoli is a Startup Mentor at Galvanize where he works with emerging tech founders. He holds a degree in history from Georgetown University and Corporate Innovation from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
