As Senior Vice President, Global Media Distribution, David Denenberg is responsible for structuring and negotiating agreements relating to all facets of the media businesses of the NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, USA Basketball and other NBA initiatives such as the Jr. NBA World Championship. In this capacity, Denenberg helps manage relationships with the NBA’s most significant media partners, including ESPN, Turner and all regional sports networks, and advises NBA, WNBA and NBA G League teams on a variety of issues relating to their media rights. Denenberg also oversees the licensing of ancillary content relating to each league, and negotiates agreements with all major studios and platforms. Additionally, Denenberg is responsible for the operation of the league's footage and photo licensing businesses and oversees the NBA game scheduling process. Denenberg currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, where he also serves on the Finance Committee. He also serves on the Finance Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee of USA Basketball. Prior to joining the NBA, Denenberg worked in the Corporate Department of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in New York City. A cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School, Denenberg graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University.
