In January 2012, Annah Zafrani was named Senior Vice President, Integrated Marketing at Universal Pictures. In her position, Zafrani oversees all Integrated Marketing efforts with broadcast and cable networks for Universal’s theatrical and home entertainment. During her 16-year tenure at the studio, she has overseen promotional campaigns for such successful features as Trainwreck, Straight Outta Compton, Fifty Shades of Grey and Jurassic World, as well as helped to launch blockbuster franchises including Despicable Me, Pitch Perfect, Fast & Furious. Zafrani joined Universal in 2001 as a Director of Marketing and became a Vice President in 2008. Prior to joining the studio, she served as a theatrical trailer producer at New Wave entertainment and a producer at Creative Domain. She began her career at DreamWorks/Amblin in theatrical marketing.
