Hey fam! So your child wants to go to VidCon US.

Get psyched — we’ll make it great for both of you! First things first…

  • If your child is under the age of 16, they must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone at all times. Parents and chaperones must purchase the same badge type as the child they are accompanying.
  • If the child you’re accompanying has a Community Track ticket, you may purchase a Chaperone (Community) Track ticket. That ticket will give you the same access to the event as a Community Track ticket minus the Meet & Greet Lottery.

The Chaperone Ticket does not provide Creator or Industry Track access. If you are accompanying a child on one of those tracks, you will need to purchase a Creator or Industry Track ticket.

If your child is age 16 or over, you are not required to accompany them at all times. If you’re okay with them being on their own at VidCon but would like to stay nearby, you can access the Parents’ Lounge at the Anaheim Marriott without buying a ticket. If you want to visit other VidCon spaces, you will need to purchase a ticket.

What is there for me to do at VidCon?

If you bought a ticket, you should check it out…you might be surprised! Lots of parents have emailed us about how much fun they had. There’s also a great Parents’ Lounge if you need a break. Sit down, chill, and meet fellow VidCon parents, no VidCon badge necessary.

What is there for my child to do at VidCon?

Panels, Q&As, concerts, meet & greets, and Expo Halls with tons of activities, games, and prizes are just a few of the things we’ve got on deck.
