Damien Scott serves as Editor-in-Chief of Complex, a global lifestyle brand and media company that's grown to be one of the most influential voices in popular culture.
For over a decade, Scott has been a proponent of authentic storytelling. He has reported on some of pop cultures biggest moments and interviewed the biggest names in music, tech, and automotive. He started his career at Mass Appeal magazine before joining VIBE as a Reporter; worked on the founding staff of 0-60, a performance car magazine while at RIDES; wrote Drake’s first American cover story while at Complex; and executive produced shows and launched new products for digital at BET Networks.
Scott currently oversees Complex’s Editorial, Digital and Social teams, which recently won Digiday's Best Digital Studio.
