Kristen is the Executive Director and Chief Strategy Officer at Brat - Must See TV for Gen Z. She started her career in psychology with degrees from the University of Michigan and the Illinois School of Psychology. She joined Niche early on, and was an integral leader on the team from the start through acquisition to Twitter. Kristen oversaw partnerships, content, operations, and sales at Niche and Twitter, rising to Global Director overseeing a team of 50+ in the US, UK, South America, Asia and Canada. Kristen left Twitter after 3+ years to join Niche co-founders again at Brat’s inception.

Navigating the Content Continuum from Movies to Vlogging
A few years ago “Professional Content” and “Online Video” were two separate worlds, separated by a huge chasm from which each group would glare at – or ignore – the other. But in the last year that’s become more of a continuum, with movie stars at one end, vloggers at the other. But instead of a wasteland, now there’s everything from Netflix and Hulu to YouTube Red, vertical video storytelling and so much more in between. Online video creators produce successful movies, while traditional movie stars luxuriate in their new YouTube cribs. This session is a discussion of how to navigate working this crossover for as it relates to business and creativity. What can new digital executives learn from Execs who ran studios and what are traditional execs learning from the new digital talent.
