Jake Roper (Vsauce3)

Jake Roper hosts and produces Vsauce3 which features videos of scientific and philosophical topics, as well as gaming, film, comics, technology, and mainstream entertainment. Jake’s audience consists of more than 3.6M YouTube subscribers. Jake uses the worlds shown in popular fiction to examine real-life science. His popular video “Could You Survive Home Alone?” recreated and examined the scenes from that classic film and led to a YouTube Original spinoff “Could You Survive the Movies?.” He has collaborated with a variety of science and pop culture icons including Bill Nye, Neil deGrasse Tyson, The Muppets, Paul Rudd, Jack Black, Steve Martin, and Rihanna. He has been a speaker at VidCon, Creative Festival in Milan, TED Talks, Playlist Live, New York Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, New York Comic-Con, and San Diego Comic-Con.
